This part will be all about our lone wolf Colter Shaw and his bad-ass Harvard bitch friend Reenie Greene and my take on them after the thirteen episodes of Season One.
First things first – I’ve loooved their banter from their first moment on screen together !! Don’t get me wrong on that – I’m not one of those “They-should-become-a-couple-immediately-and-live-happily-ever-after” kinda girls. I’m more of a “gimme-more-of-that-back-and-forth-with-flirty-undertones-for-another-bajillion-seasons” kinda girl.
It would be awesome to see an episode in the future where we learn how they met and worked together for the first time. Wouldn’t you like that ??

Their relationship lives from that banter and flirting but grew when they both faced cases that were close to their hearts and let their guard down once in a while.
Whereas Reenie simply stated throughout the whole season, that her job was kinda boring, she now obviously took matters in her own hands and resigned. For me, that came as a surprise but after thinking about it, it fit into the narrative of the season and certainly paved the path for whatever Season Two will bring for Reenie.

Throughout the season there have been several moments when Reenie wanted to spend some more time with Colter and he jumped off to the next job or so. So I found it to be very fitting, that when he asked her now to join him in his downtime she declined.
That whole conversation at the end of the season finale had a different undertone than any other before I think. They both seemed more sincere and honest about their words.
So for now we have Colter taking some downtime and Reenie doing some ‘figuring’. I’m certainly intrigued what Season Two will bring for them !!

What do you think about these two ?? Shall we work on a team name ?? #TeamReenolter ?? #TeamColtnie ? #TeamReeCo??
I would love to hear your thoughts ?? 😊
Oh and please come back when I post the second part of my review about those new information Colter got from Jessie. Phew… 🤯
